How do I fix file association with windows 7?

Okay, I first had Vuze installed but I didn't like it so I uninstalled it and installed BitTorrent in its place. But now when I attempt to open a torrent directly from it's download link I get an error message. Specifically:

C:\Users\COSTCO\AppData\Local\Temp\[is?Paranormal_Activity_2009_2in1_BluRay_108?could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location.

But if I right click and do save as I can download the torrent and open it manually. It's not a big problem, but it's a nuisance for me. Any solutions? I checked the file association in the control panel and .TORRENT files are associated with BitTorrent. How do I fix file association with windows 7?
Hi

I don't think that the issue is with the file associations, I think you'll have to first ensure that you've proper permissions on the machine or not.

To find it out, you can try working with Process Monitor tool and at the same time, trying to save it and then you can easily identify the issue if its with NTFS/Registry permissions.
