How to stream high definition from home and watch it anywhere; like work or in a different location?

hi guys,



i live away from home now and i want to watch the tv. Basically like you watch tv on the internet, but much much higher quality.



I know this is possible; i have high upload connection at home and high download speed on the other end.



please can someone tell what i need and how is this going to be possible. and i will be the only person using and watching it.



ALSO WILL IT BE POSSIBLE IF I COULD CHANGE CHANNELS OVER THE INTERNET. so basically tell me what i need to do in order to achieve this.How to stream high definition from home and watch it anywhere; like work or in a different location?
